The Wellington Pub

The Wellington Pub & Liquor Store First opened in around 1870 near the west shore of Diver Lake, The Wellington Hotel has long been part of Nanaimos heritage. Joe and Hanni Van Gerven purchased the propety in June of 1975, and in 1981, the existing Wellington Pub was opened. The original hotel building was later replaced n December 1984,with the modern Wellington Hotel Liquor Store.

Today the Well Pub continues to serve as a community favorite-offering hearty lunch and dinner features, daily beverage specials, and a popular Sunday brunch from 11am-2pm. Whether you're a local regular or just passing through, there's always a good reason to stop in at The Well.
